Smile my dear,
when life's atrocities strike,
and heaven seems not near,
when trepidation breaks your stride,
and love you cannot bear,
Know that you can face it all in pride,
When tears well up in fear,
and there's only calamity and strife,
In that smile lies a golden promise,
that no matter how cold the weather,
life goes on in this winter.
Smile my dear,
and courage will descend upon you,
bravery will be you friend that's true,
and tomorrow is not today,
for the promise of life is new everyday,
and all you can do is believe,
for miracles you are going to perceive.
Smile when you wake up,
smile as you go to sleep,
for not only is it the second best thing you can do with those lips,
it's also the true definition of your heart.
