by now your toddler should be eating the same meals as the rest of the family. Life is too short to cook a different meal for each member of the family and it is much easier to introduce new food at this early age, when the children's preferences are not yet fixed.You can interest your child in food perhaps by talking to her about its form taste or feel or by adding a few presentational touches that will help appeal to her.
Dont get anxious or angry if your toddler's refuses to eat a new dish- it may take a few of them for new foods to be accepted instead make sure that the dessert is nutritional, so that you can relax in the knowledge that she is still eating a healthy diet even if it's not in the traditional order. Remember that the balance of a diet should be assessed over a period of a few days to a week rather than with in a strict limit of 24 hours.
