LA Galaxy are the MLS title winners for a record 5th time after overcoming a resilient New England Revolution at the StubHub Center.
Galaxy started the stronger side and went ahead in the 52nd minute via a Zardes goal. New England proved stubborn and equalized through Tierney in the 79th to send the game into extra-time.
Robbie Keane would prove to be the difference after leaving his markers to score in the 11th minute to secure the win.
