Today, we commemorate the appalling 7.2 magnitude earthquake that happened a year ago. My deepest sympathy to the families who lost their loved ones that day, to the people who lost their homes and were devastated physically and emotionally. It was by far the most challenging thing that has ever happened to me and my family. Life was very hard back then and remembering the things that happened is still heartbreaking. I thank all the people who extended their help. Through your donated goods, efforts and prayers, we were able to stand up and rebuild our lives holistically again. Our homes, churches, several infrastructures, and even our lives may be shaken but not our faith. Thank you Lord God for not leaving us in times of inevitable disastrous events. Wow, it has been a year.
