Lhokseumawe City is a city in the province of Aceh , Indonesia . The city is located exactly in the middle of the lane east of Sumatra. Being in between Banda Aceh and Medan , so this city is distribution channels and trade is very important for Aceh.

A small town in Aceh, this town is small but the surrounding area is very beautiful and I'm proud born and raised in the city Lhokseumawe.

Lhokseumawe etymologically derived from the word Lhok and Seumawe. In the Acehnese language , Lhok can mean in, bay, ocean trenches, and intends Seumawe swirling water or spring water at the center along the sea off the coast of Banda Sakti and its surroundings. The existence of this region can not be separated from the emergence of the kingdom of Pasai Ocean around the 13th century, then this region is a part of the sovereignty of the Sultanate of Aceh since 1524 .
